Looks promising, we need to find out more about this engine...also what tires are those?

I know a guy who has the 450 dirt bike. This factory is in Taian, which is about 200kms from me. I'll do some research guys!

I spoke to the factory this afternoon, they had a guy with really decent English, he said the engine was originally a Honda developed 450 single and the tires were made by Cagiva in China. Whether this is an officially licenced Honda engine or not I'm unsure.

So this probably is the same as the CRF 450 engine with a longer stroke.

Price quoted was around 20,000 RMB (he said $2,300 USD, but the exchange rates say this is $2,900) if in Chinese market. Overseas markets, expect it to cost more.

Probably will visit the factory in the spring or when weather is warm enough.

I don't know if it is the same guy that I have been corresponding with, but he has been picking my brain as far as what prices they should charge. I don't think he believed me when I told him that Hyosung 650GT's (naked) are listed at $3700 at one distributor in the US, FOB Los Angeles.

I don't think that ain't no honda CRF450 engine or copy.

It looks to me it is air cooled and the rest of the engine is different might be a XR 400(bit I don't think so) that ain't no bad thing one of the most reliable bikes on the planet .
