Agreed. One of my favorite routes around Beijing.

It should be mentioned that one of the bikes was a GW250, leading the way on the expressway at sustained speeds of 130 - 135 kph (made possible by the pleasant absence of Changs on our ride). Impressive for a 250, and at only 27K rmb, B-plated in Beijing, a great deal.

spot on! keep them mighty + awesome CJ's away, especially the PLA = Probably Last Awhile versions....
correct, the red Suzuki GW250 moved quite well during the Pingu Run, red bikes are always - always fast.....

Hanging around the 798 Art District Beijing as quite a few mates and business associates have offices in the district, great atmosphere and the restaurants with outdoor seating everywhere....

Quick blast up the expressways towards Chongli (got off the expressway at Zhangjiakou) and took a nice scenic route back to Beijing CBD district via Chicheng and the Baihepu Reservoir. Great 580k ride with nice weather and great roads - no traffic and changing landscape along the way....
