  1. #1 Another traveller....
    Hey Guys,

My name is Mick and I have been living in Cambodia for the past 7 years, and I have enjoyed motorcycling here, so decided that when I return to europe I will do it by bike and enjoy it! I also half hope that on the way that i find somewhere to get stuck for a few years!

So this summer seems like the right time.

I will travel, I hope, through Laos, into China, Yunnan, Sichuan, and spend some time in Xinjiang before heading into Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan.

Considering all options as regards taking in or buying a bike when there...

    Mick

Hello and welcome steamerstimpson, you made it over from the HUBB then! Very much a newbie here myself; but it is an excellent forum. Lots to learn.

    Yes Wuming,

I really hope that I can make this china trip work, if my last experience of living in Asia is missing this opportunity i will be most disappointed.

I think motorcycling is the best way to experience just about any place and China is certainly no different. Lots of people come to China and don't understand how few people speak English so be sure to learn some basics like numbers, yes, no, thank you, "I want" and "I don't want".

When you get more details about your trip plan be sure to clue us in. Between all the membders here we've pretty much got China geographically covered!
