Does anyone of the X2 riders has replaced to front foot pegs by better quality? If so, please let me know where you found them.
I had found CNC machined FastPro footrests for CRF etc, but the Taobao seller says it does not fit on the X2.
In fact they look at the connection very sismilar to the X2. Does anyone has experience?

Thanks for your feedbac in advance.

As I go regular offroad it seems my weight is too high to carry the loads reliable.
Especially the left side is bended and breaks. I guess it has to do with the shit arrangement of the side stand that force you to keep the foot at the out side of the footrest.

    @NZBrakelathes

Thanks. That is a good idea. Could be my one :-) ... wasn't.

I found CRF standard ones by 68 RMB. So I try this.
Same time I have modified my side stand in very simple way. I brought it further down.
Now the lean angle is much less and the stand mechanic out of my foot resting area.
I get the foot 2.5 cm closer to the bike and do not stand at the edge of the foot rest anymore.
Lets see if that solves the problem sustainable. Photo will follow.

Those pegs look ok. I'm sure you could make them fit with a drill and a file Shuben.

I have installed the CRF foot rests from post #83 on the X2.

    Slight modifications have been necessary:
    a) I had to file down this two little nose ends about 4mm to get the good positioning.
    b) The gap where the spring is located is smaller than on the original X2 pegs. So I rolled the springs off by one loop and reshaped them with suitable result. Then I cut the excessive end.
    c) It needed 2 additional washers as the CRF pegs at the hinge are slimmer than the originals.
    d) on the right side I filed a bit material away to make a better move up to the brake lever possible.

The result is a totally different feeling. When the originals got wet or muddy my foot was sliding and slipping and I was all time scared I would slip off and crash. With the new ones it feels your boots are nailed to the pegs because of these spikes. Now lets hope they don't bite my sole off.

Does anyone know what years/models KTM parts/accessories will fit this bike? KTM's are actually pretty good with being fairly interchangeable, but with some big generational changes that you don't want to get wrong.

    Folks:

    I have following question:
What are the Pro's / Con's of removing the exhaust gas recirculation at my X2?

I have taken it off and closed the connections as the membrane valve (or whatever this is) makes a nerve killing rattling sound.

    Background:
From the exhaust channel at cylinder outlet leads a small pipe waste gas to a kind of flap or membrane valve that has also connection for fresh air and inject the the mix into the inlet side between carburetor and cylinder.
