I have this exact bike, had huge issues with the kickstand kill switch (cut it off and threw it away... who needs that crap anyway) also the clutch lever kill switch (bypassed that too) also replaced the coil (was faulty and causing backfires), great bike... I also upgraded the front and rear brakes which is essential, love the bike... it's boring but tough and reliable, also have heated grips but have since disconnected them as they drain the battery even when switched off. I have recently been on an epic adventure through three Chinese provinces, I'll post a link to the RR once it's up... great bikes these

A more efficient and easier way would to use one of these:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-to-DC-B...item2ec9c3924f

You can wire it directly to your battery and adjust it to the voltage you require, it even has a display to show the output voltage. Just make sure that you don't go more than a volt over your glove's normal operating voltage (e.g. 1 AA battery operates at 1.5v so 4 AAs would be 6v). As for the connection I would wire a 3.5mm headphone jack to the regulator and the gloves so that if you forget to dissconnect them you won't rip the wires out or pull your bike over.
sorry to be slow spencer,,there is no specs anywhere on the box,,but as takes 4 AAs I,m thinking 6volts...I like the look of the first gizmo with the digital readout best,,,I will have to ddo more research...regards

Hey Spencer, Thanks for your idea's. I had a look for specs too, couldn't find any. I have a vest, insoles & gloves. it would be cool if I could attach them all, but would settle for vest and insoles as I have heated grips..
The Oxford Lite Grips I have draw 3amp on full, and they are too hot to keep at that level, so presumably they may draw 1.5 - 2 amps on low setting.
I cant see the vest or other items getting as hot as the grips (Well I hope they don't).

Following on from your post I have taken the plunge and ordered one of these:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/V1NF-12V-2...item3384f92f19

Only cost a few quid - so worth a shot... The only problem is wiring up the heated stuff, they have thin wires and a tiny plug...

Added a few knick knacks to my Adrenaline.

The first is a cheapo talking watch (waterproof too) as my nice oxford time piece was stolen......

I had a good experience with a "White Light" replacement bulb that I installed on my Jetmax - so much better than the standard yellow halogen. So another went in here...

I was fed up of struggling with the valves when topping up with air - these little 90 degree jobbies are just right..

The standard horn was to say the least - a bit weedy....
    So time for an upgrade.
    Enter a compact(ish) air horn.
Hmmmm... Not as compact as I would have liked. No room at all where the original was fitted. In fact no room at all under the tupperware..
Instructions say keep away from engine heat and water.... I was thinking this is going to be a non starter...
Any way - all the plastics off so I could take a better look.... No chance!
Off for a cuppa... Brainwave - under the seat - maybe!
Things were tight - but not going to give up..
Another cuppa - brainwave number two... Suspend from a bracket..
Some digging about in my toolboxes yielded just the piece of metal needed..
Right then test fitted - looks good..
Route the cables and relay - nearly there..
Attach cables and secure everything - DONE!

    Now test that horn:

    L - O - U - D

Great - put everything back together...

Seat wont go back... Needs triming because of the horn and bracket ...

Five minutes with the Stanley knife - all sorted..

I will have some fun later..

Great as this bike is turning out to be - the one thing I am missing is storage. I was spoilt for choice when I had the Jetmax - caverns abounded..

I purchased a 56 Litre box for it - luckily I took it off when it the Jetmax was due to be humanely destroyed..

I tried to "tinker" a way to fit it to the grab handles - NOPE! Wouldn't have looked good.

Where on earth am I going to get a rack ?

Looked on CMPO just in case - lo' and behold they stock them..

Couple of days later it arrived - not long after - fitted...

A little bit tight in places - but I can live with it.

LUXURY - I now have my massive box installed... Love it....

Note: I also fitted some "intense" aux tail lights to the reg plate... I'm going to make sure I'm seen front and rear...

As winter is drawing in, I need to sort something to keep the wind blast away from the back of my hands. Inside will be toasty warm thanks to my heated grips.
I tried a set of guards that only secured inboard - they turned out to be rather cheap and nasty - and not all that secure.
Another rummage on Ebay - found just the ones.

Took a bit of fettling - but it paid off.

Now the chill is deflected - and my Adrenaline has take on a more muscular stance...

I may even try getting the handle bar muffs on..

I've still got my WK 650 - got this one to keep me on two wheels thru' Autumn & Winter - I hope...
I must have ya'll know as soon as now; Kingstone tires are the most slippery. :D (at least from my experience)
I do stunts (and you know burnouts and drifts are part of them)
