It then states total revenue of the industry for 2013 at 112,621 Million RMB. First of all a thousand million is actually a billion, so it is 112,621,000,000 RMB which represents a value of 4919 RMB each on average. Revenue/Units=average unit revenue.

The Institute loses some integrity from year to year, in that not every previous year’s data is accurate, as last year’s comparative data is not always consistent from year to year.

That considered, according to this source, it appears the production peaked in 2011 and hit its record low in year ending 2014, growth occurred in 2009-2011 and has been receding for the past three years.

There are many other variables to consider, inflation for one…

It is commonly accepted that individuals should not use Wikipedia for publicity or personal PR, even worse as propaganda.
