For, say, $ 1200-1300, shipped in a box, it would be a great project for a boring winter days.

Even does not look too bad...

OK, I would give $ 1500, maybe even 1600, for a white bike.

    On the road price $2,750.00.…

They are really exaggerating the hp on that engine as well….it’s 14.5hp at best.

They are incorrigible, they could offer a standard with that engine and a drum rear brake,

    Sell it for $1,700.00 delivered

It does not need to have all that crap on it, not that the style is bad, it is just that the quality is so obviously poor.

The SYM T2 is good example of a low cost bike that is of decent quality, looks similar but is obviously better made.

The bobber was so popular because it is a bare bones bike, basically a clean pallet to draw on.

Making fake sport bikes or cheap copies of a Honda Rebel…. not so clean and not so popular.

What they are missing is lots of custom parts to sell, not a few very high priced parts but lots of different parts that can be added to the bare bones bikes. Basically bolt on parts.

I do not think the last two additions to the DF line will sell well, they should focus on the standard and simple bare bones bikes and then try to build into custom parts.

My first impression is that DF is a compilation of components available in the Chinese market. This Frankenstein, IMO, doesn’t look any worse than the Lifan 150 which you mentioned recently. Still, the devil is in the details ... Shape of the seat cushion is killing me, also his upholstery, front fender... Basically, the bike is... passable. All other seems like something that is standard for affordable Chinese bikes.

Unless someone is covetous and wants $ 2200 for it...

This "good example of a low cost bike" in my part of the world it costs 3700 euros.

There is no doubt that much more effort is invested in its production than for DF's new bike. After all, we're talkin about whopping Lifan.

Low cost products can be well designed and assembled well, they can be priced affordably also.
The DF is not well designed and certainly not well made, its not unaffordable it likely cost the wholesaler only $750.00.

In a more perfect legitimate honest world, you would see real numbers not made up lies.

    List price:$5,399.00
    Our price:$2,699.00
    Today's Special:$2,199.00
    You Save: $3,200 (59%)

    Factory cost to make:
    Our cost and profit:
    Your total cost to own:

The real numbers would inspire trust and consideration, opposed to victimizing the ignorant.

Do not buy these lies, the saving would be real then and could include your life as well as your hard earned dollars.

The bikes are not worth what they ask for them, they are actually ridiculously marked up.
