The Zongshen 250cc 4-valve found its way into pitsterpro’s line of bikes.
As their LXR 250F price is TBD, it is assembled by these same people.
    http://www.bsemotorcycle.com/

Also their XTRT4 250 is stated as a 248cc so it looks to be an over bored 223cc, it has a 69 bore and the 223cc is a 65.
They have its compression at 9.6 to 1

So for 2600 USD you get basically a CRF230 copy with the engine already bored out to 248cc. That seems like bargain fun to me? The bikes are not street legal, but they have at least in the images turn signals? I think in some states you can get them plated, the states that do not care about federal laws and emissions. In those there is a process and or inspection they do that simply checks for lights a horn and directional’s. The bikes should have epa certificates but the on the road standards are stricter then off road standards. I actually cannot find any off or on road certificates for any of their bikes, checked back to 2012 and nothing is identifiable as theirs?

    They are having some troubles....

The Bouser J1 specs have its OHC single with 229cc? and 23hp at 11,000 rpm, seems optimistic to me. It also has its compression at 10.7 to 1?

You cannot hold them to anything, in their news section they have the bike listed with an air cooled 250 for different interest of the new bike...its water cooled. Is that to add the difference? That being its description is different from what it actually is?

Seriously English words do have actual and real meanings.

    Ditto to that...
English is a very descriptive literal language which can be used to describe to very great detail, while mandarin is a figurative one... over there some place near airy fairly land... LoL

Come back from the dirt bike racing in Zimbo over the weekend , great time with about 60 chinese competitors racing and 1 black guy from France name "Richard" was talking to this guy for a bit and he is here learning chinese and its his only 2nd race and was riding a 250cc chinese made bike compared to all the top chinese riders was on 250/450cc Jap bikes . Now the race was over 1 1/2 hours and with Richards bike with only 4L tank he had to stop to re-fuel but with the Jap bike with bigger tanks could do the race on 1 full Tank . In the 2 races Richard entered he come 3rd and 4th with a stop for fuel .. This guy is going to be a top rider in china very soon all he needs is a better bike with a bigger tank then watch out .

Now remember this guy has never rode a bike before and this was his only 2nd race and all the TOP riders from all over china was competing !

    Well done Richard

Now back to bike talk had a good look round all the usual Chinese made stuff but was looking at one bike made in China was told the name but shit me i have forgot it now sorry looked like a copy of a Honda but was it well made very clean for a Chinese made bike , here are some pictures
