CJ 750, 3 units for sale, 29.000 Rmb

If anyone seriously wants a CJ750... I know of one for about CNY5000-6000, has plate and green book etc. but as with ALL the CJ750s in PRC it's buyer beAware - CJ750s cannot be legally registered in PRC to a foreigner...

so...i'll bite - what does your average foreigner with a bike that cannot be legally be registered to him\her
get serious about a cj750 ?
is the premise that if you cant buy your way out of a problem should one arise - you ditch it and run and suck-up the loss ?

It may not be possible to register it to you if you are a foreigner, although I never heard of that one before. Not very relevant as you could simply register it in someone else's name if they are Chinese on their ID card and still ride it perfectly legally. However most of the CJs are older than 10 years so probably can't be registered to anyone.

Even more than that I can't understand why you'd want to do anything on one other than pootle around town. In my opinion you'd be much better off with a Jialing B, faster, more powerful, better brakes etc.

one could argue that even being faster and more powerful you'd still be pootling on a Jialing B , but thats
not the point at all , when in Rome - pootle. truth is, i'm not finding a very vast array of legit big displacement 2nd hand bikes for sale in BJ accessible to big dumb english speaking foreigners.
and there seem to be so many rules ! thanks for the clarification !
