Greetings from Malaysia - Few Questions on CFMOTO 650TR

Hi All,

Just got my CFMOTO 650TR last week and so far, logged about 350km on it. Few issues on the bike mainly the low side stand, which I have managed to solve by adding 1.5 inches to it. Now, it doesn't lean so much now.

However, I do intend to replace the existing H8 halogen headlights with HID, but, will I need to replace the batteries to better ones?? (if there is such a thing) cos I also intend to install a cigarette socket for 12V supply for my Hand phone or GPS and add additional LED's on my panniers. I am worried that after adding all these, my bike won't have enough juice to start. or, the electrical system might just go haywire...

Anybody out there can be of help ??

Hi Jimmy and welcome to MCM

we have 4 riders on here who have posted reports on the question you have asked check out Bikerdoc post about the HID as of today i dont think someone has replaced the battery on the TR/NK yet but you are right it needs a better one .... on MCM we ask people to post pictures of the bike . it would be nice to see how you added a 1.1/2 to your side stand
