    Hi guys,

Selling my Benelli 600GS against my will but will invest the extra money in a wife .

Bike was purchased in October/November 2012 at the TonJoy shop on Pubei Road. I never had any problems with the bike, not even a flat tire. Two minor falls, only visible mark is on the tip of the right side exhaust pipe cover. New ones can be bought for RMB 28 on TaoBao.

It comes with all documents and a Shanghai inner ring Hu B plate (equivalent to Hu A). Bike made around 3500km. Well balanced gold accessories, list below:

DMV – Gas Tank Cap Pad Black – US$ 19.98
    DMV – Handlebar Grips Gold – US$ 23.98
    DMV – Handlebar Gold – US$ 34.98
    DMV – Handlebar Caps – US$ 53.98
    DMV – Bi-folding Clutch Lever Gold + Adapter – US$ 49.98
    DMV – Bi-folding Break Lever Gold + Adapter – US$ 69.98
    DMV – Engine Oil Cap Gold – US$ 47.98
    DMV – Reservoir Cover Gold – US$ 39.98
OEM – Break and Gear pedal Gold – RMB 800
OEM – Crash Pads White – RMB 60

I’m thinking of RMB 33.500 for the bike and market price for the plate, Shanghai buyers only. And no usurious offers please.

Send me a PM if you’re interested.

Very nice tidy example. A friends brand new one I advertised here sold very quickly though admittedly not through MCM although some interest was had from here.
Priced well... good luck with the sale.

Thanks Bikerdoc, will probably regret this and hate my wife-to-be some day for disrupting my enjoyment.

Well maybe instead of going into a new marriage with the seeds of resentment is there any possible chance of coming to a compromise...with your sweety? Maybe sell the BJ600 but put some of the money towards a smaller bike or scoot? You recover some of the capital for whatever reason you might need it, but at the same time still keep a little resource that gives you access to that feeling of freedom and independence? Hell why not strap her on the back of the bike and take her some place... there's are loads of amazing vistas and romantic spots near enough to the back door step down here in Zhejiang... only half a days ride away from the big smoke!

Even some okay outdoor spots for camping, and if she's not into that then there are little quaint homestay-ish BnB's popping up round these parts... I could even recommend one or two.

    She might even enjoy it!

    Jackie,

Do you still have the original parts you replaced with the after-market parts?

can you find a wife with as many options ?
    lower mileage ?
more HP and better fuel consumption ?

if you find the right one - she'll be talking you into buying a bike in no time !
dont sweat it - you can find aluminum and steel anywhere - the love of a good woman is a rare thing .
the love of a good woman with her own bike ? even rarer !!

Test your woman. Ask her "how about we buy a cheap car now?"
If she says yes, then you should keep the bike and sell her.
If she says 'no way, we need this money to start our new life together darling' sell it.
    Simple .

    Hee, don't tease this guy.
Selling the Benelli is one of the smaller sacrifieses he is going to make, he jus't doesn't know that yet .

Kidding Jackie, I don't know you, but go for it, congrats!

I've taken her around Shanghai a couple of times already, but the BJ600GS doesn't really provided her with a comfy seating at the back. All I heard was: -Oh my back, oh my legs!, and she keeps bumpingin to my helmet with her helmet when I break. Other than that, she thought it was fun. But I'll buy a new one eventually...with better comfortability for the passenger of course.

You could however recommend a good BnB, will try to experience as much as possible before I get it sold.

Yes, according to the Pubei Road store, the original parts can be obtained there. But I just don't get why they didn't give it to you immediatly after changing to the new parts.
