My little pulse has been written off. So I'm breaking it.

Chassis and handlebars are knackered. Exhaust and Airbox already gone.
All plastics are fine. Open to offers for the full bike or parts.

    "Cat B"

Sorry to chip in ghost, its a English term the insurance companies used to say "The bike is beyond economical repair" so called "written off" so now the bike is scarp. or to put it the bike is no more, its not like China people would repair the bike and use it agian . it would be illegal to use this bike on the UK roads now , even after you do a first class repair.

Here are the break down on the UK Cat.

Cat A - The Bike should be scrapped and no parts can be taken from it.

Cat B - The Bike should be scrapped but certain parts can be taken from it.

Cat C&D - These are normally used for non economical repairs. I.E Not dangerous to drive but the insurance company doesn't want to shell out repairing them.

I hope this helps to explains what "written off" means now

No problems dude. Better description than I'd give. Mines Cat B because the chassis is twisted.

No story luckily. The same old "sorry I didn't see you". Pulled out on me from my right to my left so I hit the middle of her car.

Thanks for the explanation U2. We do the same thing in Denmark. I didnīt realize you were located in UK. First I thought it was because the bike was too old or something so the Chinese had a rule that it had to be scrapped. LOL. Good you are safe, and good you are not in China. The drivers are totally crappy here. And the rules are crappy to the second power.
