Hainan Island Spring Festival

...............As always - the holidays go too fast ....
For this 2015 CNY we decided to do it all on two wheels . Our first 5 days were bicycling along the back roads and beaches of eastern Hainan Island with www.sisucycling.com and some nice motor bike escorts .
As the last two days we grabbed the camera gear , filled the motor bikes with fuel and 'headed out for exploration . Jane had the GPS and we had a strong idea 'where we wanted to go - but some of the roads were to be 'iffy. This equals = maybe not paved or just a pig trail .
Well we found everything including excellent new roads , 'pig trails { had to turn around on these } , a beautiful waterfall called 'Flying Waters and two beautiful mountain lakes surrounded huge rainforests .
Our bike for this adventure is a CVT Honda motor scooter - yeah this scooter is 3 years old , 125 CC and runs like a scalded dog . This will be our final winter Hainan adventure tour til summer .
We head back to Shanghai for some more Yangtze River '2 wheelin .. Hope all enjoy the pictures and we have many more of this past winter on Hainan Island ..
