    Galaxy SUV250

Some of the coolest bikes ever manufactured by Honda never leave the country, the Honda FTR 223 is one of them. Also know as a Dirt Tracker and the version the Galaxy SUV250 represents. A tribute to dirt track racing, flat track that is, oval tracks.
It attracts attention in Japan and Japanese design houses actually customize it, Heiwa is one of them and offers this version of the FTR223

Oh my oh my $1200 is a steal! :D I would buy one at once, even if I would have other bikes.

Edit: The legendary group number 1, with 25 SUVs, I wish they would add 1 to 25 number sticker on the side of the bikes. Also those who buy one should make a Yahoo group or something posting pics of the life of the bikes. A free pro tip: this forum would fit for it perfectly well

If you reside in the continental USA and would like to own a Galaxy SUV250 then send an email to John Zhou at Galaxy.
The cost of the motorcycle is $900.00 FOB China
John is collecting names in an attempt ship twenty-five to the USA for on the road review.
    "Galaxy USA Motorcycle Test Group"
Twenty-Five will arrive at a US port with an estimated cost each of about $1,200.00, then freight to your location would be additional, the entire shipment would be handled though a single freight forwarder to save on the shipping costs.
If you want your name on the list, then contact John at Galaxy….

Here is a photo of the new Galaxy SUV 250 ADV!

    Suv 250 Adventure.jpg

Strangely enough they don’t advertise it on their website. I am new to this forum and have been an owner of the Galaxy SUV 250 since spring this year. I’m planning to order the bigger fuel tank from the factory since the standard one barely gets you over 200km… Just like the XTR ADV side cases are available. I like the SUV 250, even though it isn’t really a 250, and many of its parts don’t seem to be of the best quality… Still, for 12000 RMB options are limited if you want a bike that can actually have license plates… The top speed should be 110 but I find this is only possible if the wind is blowing from the right direction… However, it looks great and what I like about it is that it’s a compromise between a dirt bike and a street bike, and that is nice where I live, in Xinjiang… Good on the roads and good in the mountains…

By the way, the fuel tank is 13,5 liters, the same as the XTR250 ADV I believe, so it's no shineray long march, but that one is out of production so... might be the next best thing, at least in the pricerange...
