Ricardo. I really like your fender modification as shown in your website. This involves fitting the guard from a Honda CBF250 (also called a twister in Brazil).

I was thinking of leaving out the original altogether. I've noticed that apart from the riveting to the fork slider guards you've also fitted a thin wire stay at the back. I'll do that as well.

The problem starts when you pop down to those licensed bandits at the Honda spares shop and find that the price here is 150 euros ( US$190) or (449 BRL). Just for comparison, the perfectly well-made original Qingqi mudguard costs 25 euros (US$32) or (75 BRL).

I've noticed that you say that yours is from an aftermarket supplier which is bound to be cheaper. Is it this one:

It might not be, as they have some bits for the 250 Twister, but not the front fender. Can you tell me where you got it from. Thanks.
