Hi CrazyCarl
You are completely right. When I mentioned in my trip report that I kept average speeds at the 110 km/h mark, I meant by that, whenever possible (at double lane stretches of road, obeying all the speed signs). Along some stretches of road I was able to maintain speeds of 80 km/h, or even less when indicated to do so.
But, overall, what I would like to point is that I am naturally endowed (don't ask me why) to achieve very good constant average speeds during my trips.
In my view this is what enables me to ride long distances in a day. But, by all means, safety must prevail always.Owned:1969 Yamaha YF5 50cc, 1971 Yamaha YDS7 250cc, 1977 Honda ML 125, 1980 Honda CB 400, 1985 Honda XL 125 S, 1986 Kawasaki KLR 600, 1996 Honda CBX 200 Strada, 1998 Honda C-100 Dream, 2001 Honda CBX 250 Twister, 2007 Sundown Hunter 90

Hey, let me add one more to the list:
they call it "Beta Motard" in Argentina... let me drop a link to an argentinean forum (in spanish) (they're making jokes about it being a "BETA", so they recomend waiting for the version 1.0, hehehehe)... BTW, greeting from Uruguay (been reading the forum for a couple of days and really like it, useful information wherever I read!)
