Looks like some serious tax evasion since 1994 has landed about 40 of Qingqi's management in the Chinese clink. The big boss himself seem to be stuck for life in a toiletless Chinese prison. The story also says 5 upper members of China's Communist big red machine from the Jinan area have also been indited.

What does this mean for the future of Qingqi bikes.........

I wonder if they have room for a few of our greedy bankers as well?. We could have them all executed as a job lot. Shouldn't cost too much.

Is there a link to this in English?. Thanks.

This all depends of whether the guys that have been kicked out were deadwood or the smart guys!

Qingqi could get a load better, or a load worse!

Quite a financial wizzard, our Mr Zhang. We could do with more like him in the west....(on second thoughts...No).

Shame. He has an honest face...

There was a Qingqi Jinan importer here in the Milwaukee area a while back who dumped Q's product and dissappeared in the night. He had formerly worked for US Customs. I knew something was fishy...very fishy...with him.

I had be told he was in bed with a party person. Also, someone told me he was giving kickbacks to that person. Besides, I personally saw him with a stack of blank MCOs - directly from Jinan Q.

That importer got cancer and died last year. I dislike crooks, but feel sorry for those poor SOBs.
