Look around here for all the threads on the Qingqi enduros and motards, which is the same manufacturer as the Qlink. Member 'volksjager' bought his Qlink in San Diego and started a blog site about his experiences with his bike--might be something for you to read through. He did some modifications to it.

Supermotojunkies.com has one or more threads on the XF200, too, which you might be able to find some information of use to you.

    Congrats on the bike!!
I'm in Michigan and I got the black one. The dealer I got it from ordered two. The other is silver. When I saw the two together I had trouble deciding as the silver looks better in person then on the web. I checked out as much as I could about the Qlink before I bought it. I've saved links from here, Supermotojunkies, and Chinariders. I'm going to drive it awhile to see if I want to do some or all of the upgrade mods I've read about.

The Magelli 250 engine looks extremely familiar. I dug around some of my old photos and voila!

The mighty ZX 150-5! If it means anything, this engine reuired a lot of adjustment but ran even when the case was literally FULL of river water!

I miss Cannonball. Almost makes me want to get a Nighthawk.. if Honda stocked them with at least a front disk brake that is.

Carl, did the picture you pulled of the Magelli come from Qlink or Magelli's site? The Magelli site only shows the 125 version, and if they haven't actually started putting the 250's in their bikes yet, the photos that Qlink uses are probably the 125 version--probably nearly the same engine as the old butterball!

Our friend here, Forchetto, had added a link on supermotojunkies (probably somewhere here, too) to a parts company out of England that has universal slip on mufflers for Chinese bikes. Don't know if they ship to the US (don't know why they wouldn't) but something to look into.

A whole thread dedicated to it, here:

    They do ship abroad now.

Carl, where did that photo come from?, the model shown in the Qlink site is definitely water cooled and 250 cc.

True enough, I wonder how accurate the welds would be on a tubular swing arm system and how that may/may not affect wheel alignment.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of any other bike that had a similar setup.

The picture came from QLinks site. It is the Megelli 250 "M"....

It looks like the 250R is targeted at the Ninja 250 market... Wish I could see one in person.

I heard from the dealer that the swingarm is T6 Aluminum and the welders are qualified by TUV.

    Megelli,

Welcome to MCM! Do you know for sure how the MEgelli's components are souirced. They seem to have Chinese engines but not sure where the frames and other components come from.

I'm guessing it's all produced in China but am not sure.
