Anyone seen this yet? I'm about to watch it. Got some really good critical reviews.

Good movie with nice cinematography and decent music. Nicely done.

It attempts to formulate an answer to that question that non-motorcyclists often ask us - why do you ride a motorcycle? In my own personal case, "it relaxes me and clears my head" rang most true.

Other quotes from the movie I enjoyed include (paraphrased):

"I've been riding for 26 years, but not until I took a few lessons did I realize that I actually only had 1 year of experience, replayed 25 times over." So true, so true.

"You meet the nicest people on a Honda." That brilliant marketing campaign truly had a profound, game-changing impact on motorcycling. In my own case, it helped convince my Aunt/Uncle to allow my cousin (their son) to buy a Honda Dream. After getting a ride on it, I immediately knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. My profession was always secondary.

Two things I really liked about the movie were:

    1) It didn't categorize brands (e.g,. HD versus non HD brands), or styles (dual-sport versus sport) - everyone is riding, equally.
    2) It covered & encouraged female and youth riders. And the female riders weren't "oversized mamas", spewing swear words while holding a beer in their hand. Nicely done.

    Worthwhile viewing, IMHO.

Interesting question and one I really haven't a clue....Dad took me to Onion head and Wilbur at the local HD shop when I was a kid....they serviced all the PD HD's...Wilbur taught me to ride a small bike on the sidewalk in front of his shop....an Italian made HD....I never looked back and never really wondered why I rode a bike ... years later I can enjoy crating my ole bones into a "cage" and going for a "look-see" but nothing beats the feel of the ride and the sight of the asphalt ribbon under your wheels.
