So I was driving to work several days ago and saw an 京A plated, wrecked scooter in the median between two roads. After two days it was still there so I decided to push it home.
I'm assuming the plates are fake and the driver just bailed after crashing. But if they are real and/or stolen, I'd like to get them back to the owner.
Is there anyway to find out who they belong to?

The Gong An should surely have those plates listed. Could be genuine plates if the rider was drunk or the bike was nicked.

If you have the bike, check the plate number for fines (using the engine number). Or you can just email the Traffic Police
