Hainan Island Coconut Tour

[Mega In Shanghai]

Its the week before Spring Festival and the 'Year of the Horse . The tropical weather - is sunny with low 20s and evenings in the mid teens.
Excellent visibility and near perfect road conditions for the 'Coconut Road 'getaway.
We took two days to explore northeast Hainan Island and it was very nice!
From the miles of coconut groves & forests , to the huge desolate white sandy beaches - this is an 'outdoorsman's winter dream.
Ric and I , along with the girls are riding 125cc scooters . We had no problem doing 75 kph on some fantastic highway stretches.

Hats off to Mega for the wonderful tour and guidance around parts of the island that were quite beautiful..our first trip there and it was rewarding...Mega also helped when my new scooter throttle cable
gave way to my heavy hand after driving top speed for about an hour...we were fortunate to be relatively close to a small town and after asking 8 or more shops for help..we finally came across one that would fix it for 10 rmb and for good measure changed the oil...
