    Hi guys,

    Just put some led's inside my headlight to wire with my side/parking light but the wires on the bike are Brown and red. Just a quick question which is plus and which is minus. I know red is normally positive and black is minus but I am well and truly stuck here.

    Thanks for the replies I get :)

    The obvious and logical, can be oblivious and illogical when it comes to the manufacturing processes coming out of PRC... so I sympathise with you. I've often found that there is sometimes no logic when it comes to manufacturers wire colour choices, so if you have a multimeter then use it, or else simply take either one of the LEDs or a small wattage bulb like those used in automotive applications as park lights and simply connect one red wire one would assume is the positive wire and place against the end of the base of the bulb and the other wire to the the other terminal or the side of the base of the bulb making sure your wires are live... if that doesn't work then try reversing the wires...

    Red wire in PRC doesn't always mean positive;
    Brown wire in PRC doesn't always indicate a negative either...
