    As Beijing's riding season is starting, several people (Chinese & foreigners) have been contacting me about my "inventory", knowing that I am cleaning house in anticipation of heading to another location. Based on the number of inquiries I've had, the Beijing grapevine is alive and well. It is hard to keep up with the emails / sms / etc., so here's a breakdown for MCM'rs

    A-plated JH600 - just sold for 85K to a Chinese buyer (a great deal)
    A-plated Suzuki Neptune - For sale mid to late May for 5K plus market price for A plate (currently around 75K)
    A-plated HD 883 - sold
    A-plated Regal Raptor 250 - sold
    A-plated GW250 (black) - sold
    A-plated GW250 (grey) - sold
    A-plated BMW 650 - sold
    A-plated HD Ultra - sale pending for almost a year! Hence, may be available
    A-plated YBR125 - sold
    A-plated (blue) Jialing 50cc scooter - sold

    B-plated GW250 (blue/white Sport) - sold
    B-plated GW250 (black Travel version) - only 700 kms, a steal at 26K, including accessories
    B-plated GW250 (red) - sold
    B-plated YBR250 (grey) - sold
    B-plated YBR250 (red) - sold
    B-plated Suzuki FW110-SR - only 14 kms on it - bought for a relative who cancelled China trip - deal at 7,500 rmb
    B-plated Jialing JH150 - sale pending

    Collector Xingfu 250, 10th year anniversary - 30K (completely restored, properly, again, after the Bryant F up)
    Collector Jialing 50, one of the first 5 motorcycles available to the public - >100K (serious enquiries)
    Collector Qingqi 15 - a very cool bike, completely restored - 40K

    I am probably forgetting some bikes, but my JH600B sidecar, my Victory Kingpin, my Honda Dio, my Galaxy 250, my CJ750s, etc., have all been sold a long time ago (>1 year ago)

    I also have tools & equipment out of my personal shop, that I am currently trying to work out a deal for everything, instead of trying to do a piecemeal nightmare. I will know in a week, or so, if it goes through. Highlights include:

    1,000 lb hydraulic lift (quality)
    Floor jacks
    Tire changer/balancing machine (quality)
    High quality front wheel chocks
    Craftsman tools sets, with cases
    Various roll around tool tables
    Quality detailing equipment (extensive)

    Also, decent fixtures from our clubhouse (about 1 year old - then government kicked us out to demolish the building ... sigh), including ceiling lights, fans, AC units, bathroom/kitchen fixtures, etc., etc., etc.

    I also have a brand new motorcycle dyno located in Hong Kong (shipped from USA) ... but that is pricey, and I will likely ship it back home because I am asking retail + shipping costs (around $40K US funds). Still in crates in my HK condo.

    wow. jing a plate now 75k! several weeks ago my neighborhood friendly mechanic wants to buy my bike with the a plate for 50k, he only want the plate......

    @ZMC - I won't embarrass myself by listing my bikes back home. Suffice to say I am seeking therapy.

    @arte - A-plate prices are bouncing around all over the place, but I haven't seen a 50k price since the Fall of 2013 (around September). Frankly, if you still have the RR-350, and it is CC-3 emissions, I'd separate the A-plate from the bike by "selling" and plating it with a Hebei plate, then sell the A-plate separately from the bike. You'll get at least a few grand for the bike, and market for the plate. Most people prefer these "paper" A-plates because it is less hassle to put it on the new bike they want to buy (no long waiting lines for scrapping). An agent can help you out with doing this, but the bike needs to be CC-3 for it to be able to be "sold/transferred" to Hebei.

    It's almost as if there's something wrong in China that makes people not want to live there.
