Here is something interesting. I was looking today at a website that, I thought, was selling this bike on sale for a decent price. Here is the D250RTD:

If you look at it, it is certainly the same engine as the bobber (as in the huge thread here). You can see a closeup of the engine, and it is certainly a pushrod motor.

But, on the website I was looking at today:

Looks like the same bike, same price, etc. Till you look closely at the engine here. It is most certainly an overhead cam motor.

Man, this Chinese motorcycle industry is a bit odd, isn't it? The more I learn about it, the more confused I get.

I was thinking that a pushrod single would be the most basic motor as far as maintenance. The pushrod specs say 13 horsepower, while the overhead cam model says 15. That's probably about right. But, under speed heading, the DongFang says 75+, while the overhead cam model says 56+.

Very confusing.
