    Hello,
I like the CG based pushrod engines and a looked for a quite big one.
I was happy to find a 167 FMM for low money.
I could not find manufacturer sign on the engine ? The only one is Tornado embossed at the basis of cylinder ? Who knows where it can come from ?
The bike has manufaturing date 2009.
The bike was (not) stored and piston was locked in cylinder from some rust.
Did not move from kick starteer gently pushed but came pushed by fingers after opening.
I fear it is not easy to find over bore pistons for this ?
Perhaps complete set cylinder + piston ?
Many thanks and lots of regards for all.
    Fred

The 250cc has a modded crank too? Am I right in saying that?
Mine is 150 I would like bigger but what CC do you get without changing the crank?

    YES.

There's 65.5mm direct-fit kit in tb. The thin 65.5 rings isn't par to the regular one's quality. http://forum.jorsindo.com/forum.php?...ad7tid=2373346
Higher compression ratio (thinner gasket or 125 "head" ) is a more reasonable way to mod 150.

    Hello
Many thanks for fast answer !
Do you know how many manufacturer make or have made this 167FMM ?
I openend the engine quite fully today.
Clutch system was clogged and I cleaned as well as possible cylinder, piston and rings and I will try to start this way first.
I anything else is OK, I could order new piston and rings and rebore.
    Lots of regards.

Who knows how many Chonda maker. #1 rule when buying Chinese parts ref to measurement (mm), shape etc. Famous air-cool CG250 is Lifan & Zongshen. Air-cool "167FMM" is replaced by water-cool "170MM" in domestic market (overloaded trike).

Hopefully it's not as bad as this http://www.motorfans.com.cn/bbs/view...=434490&page=1 POS.

    Hello,
I forgot to check piston pin Ø ; is 15mm and not 16.
I will clean piston cylinder and rings today and I have to make seals to be able to re assemble.
I found various brand logo on several parts. I try to find names (no hurry).
Inside of engine is very clean and parts looks to be well machined in good metal.
I am starting in trying to understand history of all those Chonda engines.
    Many thanks.

    Hello,
I start with one question ; When you give diemnsion for distance of holes in cylinder, do you consider to axis or minimum distance from side of each bore ?
I checked from axis and measurement do not fit.
Rest of the story of my 167FMM ; The piston is not 67 (?) but 65.5 and marked inside CB250.
No dimension correspond with the very complete file Minyang but in the Dongya the piston rigns for CB250 also fit ; 65.5 and thickness 0.8 + 0.8 + 2.8 as rings for CB250-G.
Also the cylinder measurement are different. The sleeve Ø is 70/72 and heights are different.
I will take all on a paper and give you.
It seems known that some 167FMM engines exist with this 65.5x66.2 dimension.
    Not simple !
    Many thanks;
    Fred

Hello and many thanks to take care about my questions.
So this kind of CG200 with CB250 piston is made (one of ?) by Yinxiangmotor.
the 65.5 related page is well for complete set Cb250 with the right piston but the OHC cylinder.
Most of chinese writen pages are not readable for me.
I see figures looking like prices. Are they Yuan prices ? I have to look for change rates.
Did you think about shiping parts to europe ? The company I work in also works in China and have specialist for exchanges.
    Have a very good day.
