Hey guys
Names Mitch live in Australia.
Bought myself a 650nk few weeks ago at auction however wasn't in the condition it was listed at!
So while I'm waiting for parts I'm looking at mods such as handle bars. Bar end mirrors. Pod filters and am looking for some advise on which to go with.
What size pods are recommended?
What bars have others used and what other models fit?
Ecu tuning, can anyone recommend anything special mine is LAMS restricted (also wanting to remove this too!)
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I used the bars with raisers from Chinese taobao.com
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...id=12471975835
this is the link.
These bars won't take bar-end mirrors though, since the internal diameter is too small.
As for the pods, I would highly NOT recommend installing those, since you will need to remap your ECU to have your engine run properly.
Can't say much about ECU tuning, but I guess that the rte should be ways to remove LAMS restriction. Probably a new ECU + reflash would work.

Thanks for the reply, looks like they have a 22mm internal diameter - most of the bar end mirrors i've been looking at are 22mm so that shouldn't be an issue.
What size risers did you use? how do you find these bars compaired with the standard ones?
thanks again

I think those bars I posted the link to have 12mm internal diameter, not 22. I use the risers that went with the bars, they are probably 4-5 cm.
Anyways, the bars are wider and I feel much more comfortable with them. The underside is that it makes filtering a bit more complicated.

I have used Rizoma conical handlebar (Fatbar) model MA010 what are low and don't have much bend.
As they are not 22mm but about 29mm in the connection point.
So do you have to use some risers adapters to connect them as our bikes
you just can't go and change risers.
When I replaced my front end I also replaced my triple tree so I can now change my risers.
Here is my setup before my fork upgrade.

So I've decided to make the bike single seat and make a real cowl for the back seat. I'll take some pics of my new bars bar end mirros exhaust and rear cowl when I get home :)
