Was not aware the bikes came stock with 15 front, not 17 so a 17 is the first thing

I say going from 15 to 17 is the only thing.
Yep, even my Z50 hack came with a 15 front. All three of my minis now have a 17 front which I think is enough. Gets first gear much more usable. Also I believe the larger front sprocket increases chain life.
Top speed of 110 cc hack is 45 MPH GPS with a cruise of 35 without over revving the engine.

Barnone, what is the rear gear on your 110 z50? Is it 37?
Is 45 mph the fastest it will go without the side cart or with?
Is your engine semi auto or manual & a 4 speed?
Reason I ask is that I have a 110 engine manual clutch 4 speed I may put in the jenching panda.
It'll give me an idea what it will do as I have a 37 rear gear & 8" tires.
I wish the 110 engine i have was semi auto.
But I got it cheap brand New Years back so I can't complain

Hack specs at http://www.saferwholesale.com/110cc-...%20monkeyp.htm Take with a grain of salt.

    Running 17/37 now , came with 15/37.
All speeds are with the sidecar attached. Hard to get a level and straight run in the mountains (3000' elevation) but I saw 45 MPH on the GPS, maybe had a little more but I was winding the hell out of it and ran out of road.
Four speed semi auto which I like.
I did go to 4.00-8 over the 3.50-8 tires on the front and rear but not on the sidecar.

I didn't have room to haul the monkey bikes to Florida where I spend the winter. Our middle daughter in Blacksburg VA is due to have a new grandson in late December so I might stop by Robbinsvile NC on the way home and bring a few monkeys to FL.

Have been a bit bored this last week, have been told not to go to work by the hospital doctor. So have been fiddling out in the garage and have constructed a home made baffle for my excessively noisy straight through exhaust. Just fitted it and ran the Lifan up to opetating temperature. It definetly sounds quieter, just a matter of whether or not it slows or speeds up the bike at all? I quite like the look of the straight through pipe too, just need some sort of chrome tip to finish off the end of the exhaust.

The doctor telling you not to go to work gets frustrating! I learned that with my forced 4 week vacation!! I would be interested to read how much it improves your speed, if at all. I figure, if you hit the same top speed, but quieter, it would be a win-win

My last run was with the standard exhaust so it will interesting with the new one. If there is no improvement i can change it back.
