Hi needing some advice for the valve timing on a Lexmoto xtrs 125, I bought the bike in bits and have nearly got it all together but the position of the cam the cam sprockets and valve timing are really perplexing me. I bought the Haynes manual for Chinese motorcycles but it doesn't cover the engine I have. Does anyone know where I can get a manual for this bike or can anyone talk me through setting the valve timing on it.

    Regards
    Lomi

It's the "CB" clone. Honda 200 shop manual http://pan.baidu.com/s/1mgMFmdi is similar as ur Q.

No matter what engine the basics are the same
Piston TDC then camshaft bumps facing down equally
You should be able to see marks on flywheel for crank and 2 marks on cam?
    So crank rod is |
    Cam bumps / \
    There's the basic timing

Thanks for the help lads. My problem with it is there is no rocker cover to take off, so i can't see the position of the cam lobes to set the timing. i cant pull the cam out from the side as its almost like its pressed in. i have at least worked out that TDC is the F mark, just need to work out how to set the cam. Also the cam sprocket was removed from the cam so not even sure were that fits on as there are no locating marks for the sprocket to go on the cam. Ah well plenty too keep me busy lol

Hi this is what i have, as you can see there is no cam cover to come off and the cams wont slide out from the side as they appear to be pressed in. I dont even know if the cam sprocket is on correctly as there are no visible marks on the cam shaft. Any more input would be really great. Cheers.
