    how did you amend the bike documents or is the modded bike used on closed circuits only now as a track bike, modifying engines and increasing displacement is illegal in China.

    As a bike for travelling in China or anywhere else they have shit roads I think it is ideal . It has more suspension travel than a road bike but not so tall it is awkward to manoeuvre around. The engine has 18kw , not sure about the torque . You can get dirt tyres to fit it , maybe might want to raise the front guard a bit.
    I think they have gone a bit overboard with the crash bars , but hey you can always hang your washing on them as you ride along. The bike in the pic belongs to a Chinese guy we met in Dali he had done 12000km in 42 days through south east asia with no problems. Gjackson has 25k on his after he rode it to Turkey.
    Also you can buy it with mags for no extra money.
    Edit;
    Max Torque(N.m/r/min)23/7000

    Just found this -

    http://cd.58.com/danche/194455895559...5732&ClickID=1

    (Yingang yg150x

    Looks exactly what I'm looking for. (except not 250cc).

    - Wide seat
    - Adventure accessories/racks/crash bars/hand guards etc.
    - Big tank
    - Not too big/heavy
    - Off-road orientated

    Is there anything similar to this that is more off-road capable and nimble than the rx3?
    Something I can buy new.
