WTB - USED CJ 750

Hello,
i'm looking for a used - 15 year old (1999 or earlier ) CJ for export to Canada. can be an older resto, a bmw conversion. i'm not interested in a 'NEW' restoration though.
'some work' or non-running will be considered depending on overall condition. Must have legal documents and be a legitimate bike.

you will have a very hard time finding a 100% legal CJ750... but plenty of the owners/sellers locally will try to tell you different... read some of the various threads here to get a bit of an overview on the subject.
I have a neighbour that has an older army green CJ750 outfit with the 27HP engine. has a plate but it aint real legal... he's looking for about 2000kuai or thereabouts for it...

i'd be interested in looking at that CJ Doc, i've got one now that i'm enjoying a great deal and plan to export at some time . i' m hoping to send one to my brother in Canada.
i dont need a plate - just the ownership docs - provided the numbers dont come up 'stolen'
it should be ok .
does your neighbour speak english ?

AFAIK the price of about 2K is solid, but I know the German owner had been asking 5K. I'm unsure about the documents. I know the plate is BS. I'll check and get back to you guys. The bike is located down in a district of Ningbo.
