Hi people, Anyone have one of these?

    http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=...74&ns=1#detail

Tried one out at the shop the other day and liked it.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with the engine and its quality/performance. It's a Shineray 400cc.

I like to style a lot as I have always loved the Bonneville and W650.

Also do prices go down for these bikes in Winter? Still have stuff with the licence to sort out first so can hold off if there will be a decent discount during winter.

    Cheers

Qingqi use a Shineray engine? I thought they would have used a Suzuki based engine. I think it's a fairly powerful Honda knockoff engine.

It's pretty but those wire wheels tie you into into tubes and mediocre tires, so just be aware of that. Lots of buyers for the new Triumph Bonnevilles buy the base model so they can have regular wheels.

Discount in winter? haha, not in China mate. They always knock about 500 yuan off in negotiations, but they allow for that by asking 500 more before they begin.

    must be the wrong photo.
I saw on TaoBao a bike from QingQi looking very similar to the Shineray but as I remember with a 250cc Engine of the QingQi Liger250.

Looks like a big old single thumper. Reminded me a lot of the GB400/500 TT.
