From the dust of the old husqvarna brand in the italian city Varese ,the buildings were bought by SHINERAY several months ago now rises S.W.M, a italian brand that has been out of bussines for over 30 years and was a verry famous enduro,mx and trial machine builder with several world titles.Check out the galerie on the right side, the enduro s are clearly husqvarna but i really like the cafe racer, scrambler and the silver vase ,it think those last 3 machines using shineray engines ?

check it out ,picturegalerie on the right

How am I supposed to read it--it is all in a foreign language Just kidding

Seriously, while I could not read any of it, it all seems very interesting! Ironically, someone had posted a rant about Shineray not too long ago, about how they do not know how to do business. A friend of mine who is a distributor here in the US, said he used to carry Shineray products, but stopped. While he did not find them arrogant like the poster who ranted here on Mychinamoto, he found that he would make a deal with a rep, get some bikes, and call back a few months later to order more bikes or parts, and he had to start all over again as the rep was no longer with Shineray. It happened a few times, so he simply stopped dealing with them.

I wonder who will be considered 'management'? If it is Italians, they will hopefully want to sell bikes?

MASH is offering these as well as a Classic 250cc Ala Qinqqi.
Mash calls their bike with a 400cc a Five Hundred?

I had never heard of MASH. Ford had a 500, but I think the largest engine they had in it was a 460 cu inch Kidding aside--motorcycles are often named for their engine size, so it is a little misleading to name a 400cc bike a '500'

Looks like a very interesting line of motorcycles. I think there is a thread on advrider.com also. I love this old style do it all dual sport!! Reminds me a bit of a 1964 BSA 500 twin scrambler I rode in high school.

    Neat bike indeed.

I like the street version better tho. ;)

Different question, as something puzzles me here:
Both those bikes have tires mounted in opposite thread direction.

I suppose it's for the front tire's thread to "bite" the ground when braking.
But then wouldn't it cause water & mud to just build up right under the front tire in normal forward motion?

I always thought both tires thread should be in the same direction.

    I don't get it.

So basically rebranded Italian era Husqvarna bikes? I thought Shineray showed some Husky bikes under their own brand (Shineray 630)?
