The reason for that might be I imagine is that 99% of the customers buying Sundown speak Brazilian Portuguese, and they try to serve their customers which is wise. I could imagine they could hire someone to do the translation and then SELL the repair manuals, but it could be not very good business, actually, it would be a business in which I would not invest a penny I imagine them having a lot of work to do and little time, and no reason to work on things related to their business what would not help them to get even a glass of milk.

ChinaV and Forchetto have probably the most detailed knoweldge of the QingQi's bits and pieces so you may try sending them a PM. ChinaV is on the road now though and not sure about Forchetto.

Best hing is to take off the front sprocket cover and check to make sure it's not leaking from somewhere else in that area (like the cross/counter-shaft drive seal). Try to remove it yourself then take it to a local moto shop and see if they can match it. You can look at a Suzuki Dr125 parts catalog and try to match it up as well.

I have a Haynes workshop manual that generically covers all the chinese origin bikes in the UK at the moment. Its downfall in the workshop though is that its very generic. I found it useful to have the attached document to hand with all the useful service specs and torque values to hand. I translated this from the portugese manual kindly posted earlier, hope this quick reference is useful to others. Unfortunately I can't attach it to the post as it is too large a file so if you want a copy send me your email address and I'll send it on.

I followed a link from a previous post to the Qlink site and they do indeed have an english language workshop manual for sale. I contacted Qlink to ask if they would ship to me in the UK however the reply was that they are not legally allowed to sell outside the US. There was a suggestion that I might get someone in the US to buy the manual on my behalf and ship it to me. Don't suppose there might be someone from the US out there in forum land willing to help me out? It might even be that you have enough time to copy the manual yourself before shipping it to me by way of payment?
