    Hi all,

I’m selling my 2013 Shinreay X5. Asking price is 23,000 RMB.

OPTIONAL: Hu C (price end Oct ~23,000 RMB).

    About the bike:

The bike is great fun and I’m actually sad selling it, as it was a great friend throughout my trips here in China (Yunnan, Inner Mongolia, etc.).

It is comfortable to ride long days on the road, but also go off-road. I’m not an off-road guy so when I say off-road it means dirt roads etc. and not trails and other hard-core things… But the bike is definitively capable of!

    • Register date is Sep 13, 2013
    • The bike is in top condition, parked inside!
    • 7189km!
    • Oil change every 1500-2000km
    • Insurance valid till Sep 2015

    The bike got following extras/modifications:

    • New Pirelli MT 90 (80% road / 20% off road)… ONLY 2000km old!
    • Oil cooler
    • Engine guard
    • Hand guard
    • GPS tracker (not navigation)
    • 2x integrated aluminum side boxes for luggage
    • 2x spare canister for fuel with mount
    • Brand new battery
    • Disk lock for front wheel
    • Heavy duty lock & chain for rear wheel
    • Dust cover

I also through in the original Kenda MC 66P tires and a set of bigger turn signals.

If your interested please send me an eMail to: snev313@gmail.com and we can arrange a time. Or for more images...

Also if you shouldn’t know the bike some more spec:

    • Engine Type: single-cylinder, 2-valve, 4-stroke, SOHC, oil-cooled
    • Displacement: 399ml
    • Weight: 150kg
    • Wheelbase: 1450mm
    • Compression Ratio: 8.8:1
    • Max. Power: 22kw (7000r/min)
    • Max. Torque: 32N.m (5500r/min)
    • Starting Method: electric
    • Transmission: chain-drive

Thx.... i guess you ment 2000 RMB instead of 200.... anyway:let's not forget the in the calculation the new tires which are 2600 RMB, the boxes which are 1800 RMB, the engine guard, the locks etc...

Of course it's free for everybody to buy a brand new bike and buy all those extras on top if needed... to get a better bargain ... if not, this is a hassle free package, you're fully equipped after that ...

Bike sounds nice but a bit overpriced IMO.

IMHO factor 20-30% depreciation for a PRC made bike with might put your ride at a better more sell-able price point. Generally the same depreciation percentages don't apply to foreign made MC's here especially if they are legal.

Another aspect is selling the bike separate to the plate, given that this is doable in SH - gives the bike a broader appeal.

Are you looking to sell the bike only with plate or willing to sell the two separate? If yes/no then might be worthwhile amending your advert accordingly.
Accessories don't add value, often simply making something more marketable, but this can also work in the reverse. If you want to realise the capital value in the accessories, sell them off the bike separately.

    YMMV

    Hi bikerdoc,

thx for the advice... YES... I would sell the bike separate from the plate if I would know the regulations (e.g. how long can I keep the plate without an bike)... I'm not 100% sure on this but think to remember after 3 months the plate expires if it's not on a bike... what I want to avoid is to sell the bike, get stuck with the plate and loose all value of the plate after 3 months...

Price new 26,000. Price after 15 months and 7000 kilometers 20,000. Tires....500 extra because they are Pirelli if long life left. Second hand top boxes 500, other extras 2nd hand 500 = 21,500 not including plate is fair price if in my area. Sorry just opinion and 12 years buying and selling bikes in China.

I am sure the X5 cost between 26,000 to 28,000 RMB new + taxs + plates but I could be wrong !

    Guys,
His X5 was running for 15 month and 7k km. That is a good indicator :-)
All minor problems are wiped out. So, with a certain price adjustment it might find a new happy owner.
Anyway, i loved my former X5 and it is still running fine on daily base and seem to do well. I guess it has at least 15k+ km on now as i sold it at 10k km already.

Ok guys, I'm hearing you... let's play with open cards.... (and thx ShuBen, you are right, bike is running smoothly...)...

So the bike with all modification/extras was 33k+... I agree with bikerdoc that 20-30% in one year are the normal depreciation. As mentioned the bike is 15 month & 7k km young, well maintained and as you can see from the pictures parked inside etc...

Long story short... seems your looking for 30%... so here we go... updated asking price to 23,000
