Does anyone know how to defeat/delete some of the engine kill mechanisms? I have a 2006 CF Moto V3 and the kickstand has to be up and one of the brake levers squeezed in order for it to start.
Seems like there must be a central location for these things to function.

    Its an auto right?
Not a wise move to delete or defeat the side stand kill switch on an auto tranny/CVT two wheeler - it's designed that way for a reason.

A friend with a Tmax500 found that out the hard way.
He had bypassed the side stand kill switch, which is not a big deal on most maxi scoots as most have a parking brake e.g. TMax500, AN650 et al.
Unfortunately, friend forgot to activate/engage parking brake, Tmax500 on side stand. Friends, friend started Tmax500 while on side stand (side switch bypassed). Blipped throttle with scoot on side stand, and off the scooter went... 10-20 feet, sliding down on one side...
    Lesson learnt.

The CFMoto V3 & V5 models don't have parking brakes.

Just in case you may not have considered...
By passing kill switch may have ramifications with regards to any road worthy/safety inspection etc.

Good advice. Coming from an automotive background it's nice how simple motorcycles/scooters are. No bs stuff to interfere or break down (or at least less.)
When the the day comes and the bike doesn't start it will be easier to diagnose w/less moving parts.
For now I'll take ur suggestion and leave the safety kills for another day.
