Any word on importers or price and if they might assemble them in China?

I doubt is assembled here. At least the frame is made in China, though.

I know currently many parts are made in China, and that they are assembled in the USA, I'm just wondering if they have any plans to assemble them in China. Otherwise the bike will be subject to over 100% import tax, making it prohibitively expensive compared with a Thai or Chinese manufactured bike.

Zero has a dealer in Hong Kong but they wanted a arm and a leg to ship it to Changchun. I also looked into Evoke. The owner seems nice enough but I could not get past the 40000 rmb price tag this year. I plan to check them out next time I am in Beijing. I do have the bike below. It is just something I got on Taobao for 14000 rmb. It has a 5000w hub motor and lithium batteries. I am getting about 98km/h on the gauge so that is really 85? I can make it about 80-85 km before the battery craps out. It looks nice though! It gets me around town every day and to my schools.

Yes, Changchun is the flatest city I've ever seen. I only hit one highway ramp everyday and the incline is not notable. Good question though, I never really thought about how I never hit Hills.
