DOHC head as a "bolt on" solution for common C-moto engines would be interesting way to increase power on the cheap.

But appears that this kind of enthusiasm is rare occurrence among Chinese manufacturers.
Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...

I remember the mad toolmaker who fitted a 4 valve head from a VT250 onto a CB125 engine just because he had a lathe, a mill, a surface grinder, a tig welder, a valve cutter, a dynamic balancer and a long cold winter. But a bolt on kit it was not.

Also, as the head was water cooled he had to adapt a washing machine water pump and build an aluminium radiator.

This is the kind of stuff that goes on in NZ because there is a race class for 150 cc bikes which allows any modifications but no competition engines. So you can build it but you cant buy it.

You can get DOHC kits they are not inexpensive, Takegawa has one for the horizontal 125cc takes it to 20-22hp it retails for about 2k USD.

There is also a company called KOSO that makes DOHC and 210cc cylinder kits for Yamaha 125cc scooters.

I think Junak will not sell this one. They had Plans but it doesnt go right.

Dollar is not cheap. Since yesterday Poland has BBB- rating because of our insane new president with his crew (PIS).

This all suggest that the importers will sell more of the cheapst crap in the next few years.

Junak is claiming that they had twenty percent of all motorcycle sales in 2015, sold 9000 units.
The Yuan fell against the Zloty, in that more can be purchased or that the Zolty goes further than it did in the past year. It’s likely that the manufacturers will raise prices to shift that variance to themselves, however the industry is very competitive.
The business models should be multifaceted and is just that it needs to be better defined.
Junak has no exclusivity in their products and sources, they whether they accept it or not are part of a much larger interrelated process that process needs to be refined and in that better defined and managed.
Overtly nationalistic politicians getting visceral is nothing new, playing into gut feelings is not the same are taking the smart approach, sometimes the dumb asses win, they need to from time to time just so people can see the real difference, but then again dumbness is very stubborn.
I would like to see Junak and AJS have some products that were unique to their brands, not at the cost of Lifeng which also deserves to have a piece of the market. More and multiple brands, sharing a common system is how I see it being better defined and in that more manageable.
