02-12-2015, 03:57 PMNew to the forums. Bought a Galaxy XTR250 a few weeks ago, got my driving licence shortly after and am now planning to ride to the country of my dreams: Vietnam. I've been wondering and searching to no avail: what paperwork does one need (other than a visa) to ride a motorbike with a Chinese licence plate (云A) into Vietnam, preferably across the border at Hekou, Yunnan?
I know they'll let you exit China, but the Vietnamese won't let you enter without the right documents, but no one can tell me what those documents are. Any ideas?
