    Hi, I am currently thinking and planning to upgrade my SuperMoto, Sinnis Apache 125 | Pulse Adrenaline 125, Same bike different names. haha.

    Back to the point I have been searching for some big bore kits for it and also a bigger sized carburettor. failing that at least bigger jets, and I have came a bit unstuck when trying to find the items i require. I get confused on if it would fit my engine, as I look on eBay, and obviously it doesn't state which engine it will fit.

    I have £300 - £400 to spend as I don't want to go overboard, but I will also be changing the colour from orange (yuck) to a two tone matte black, and matte white. but that's a different story haha.

    I was just wondering if anyone could help me with the searching of the items I need.

    I was also wondering if 150cc is the Biggest bore kit you can get for a 125 or if you could go that little bit higher say like a 170/180.

    Everything I am doing to it I will be doing myself as I am a HGV Mechanic, and I have dabbled in the arts of body and paint.

    If you are willing to split cases, you can get 200 cc using stock parts...

    Hi Zorge, I don't want to go up that much as I'm still riding on a cbt which only allows for me to ride a 125 but I would like either 150cc or 170 or 180. What I might have to do is get my cylinder professionally bored out to 170 or 180 if I cannot buy one online, but then I would have to get the cylinder head professionally bored out as well

    In any case, the increase in displacement is a violation of the rules, so IMO, why bother with cylinder boring, searching for the respective piston, carburetor tweaking, when using only stock parts (there is 200 cc version of that same engine), you can get a lot more with a lot less headache?

    There's one reason I want to keep it to the 124cc cylinder is just incase I get pulled over by the police they won't be able to tell if it's bored out to 170 / 180 without seizing it and inspecting it. But where as if I put a 200cc cylinder and head on there they would be able to tell just by looking at it for what cc it roughly is.

    In this case, I would determine whether existing cylinder, namely his sleeve, can be bored out to 66mm, which is the bore of a standard 200cc engine (easy to find matching piston, that is). This bore, with a standard 125cc's stroke, gives 167cc. In addition, do some head porting, carb tweaking, and no doubt - few extra ponies will come to yor stable.
