    Hi,

I need some advice. I buyed a year ago a CDI Unit, and maybe it is broken. Same issue than last year.
If cold starts, after 6km there is no spark on both plugs. After 30min, starts 4km stops, but after next 30sek starts.
    1km later no spark.

I was yesterday in a pressure wash. But after that i drove 16km without problems. I will wait few days, maybe some cables are wet. But if not, i will need a new CDI.

I have 24month warranty on the old one, but i must found the invoice...

My motorbike is an Keeway Cruiser with carburetor.

In Poland they sell them for about 100$, it is for me pretty heavy (15% of my salary).
I found on Aliexpress some XV 250 Yamaha CDI Units for 40-50$ with shipping. Are they the same?

Thanks for the link, it was my thought too. I must wait because of the water pressure wash. Maybe it is only this...

Thanks guys from romet125-forum.pl I have the mases for the Pick up coil from CG clone (156/157FMI).
They are exactly the same. Just the wires go inside from the bottom and not from the top. Next week i will mount it. I will give you feedback if this works.

There is a problem though. But i can't found out what the problem is:

    New battery mount.

When the engine do not start there is no spark on the sprak plugs.
I think the issue is the CG engine pickup coil. The engine runs well on it, but he need that the starter run very quickly.
