06-04-2015, 06:15 PMAfter 150km :
Max speed is 105kmh. You need a long long street to achive that speed.
But more important is gearing (?). The engine has 4 normal gear, and a "overgear". On the 5th gear you can drive 85-90kmh by 6-7.000rpm. The another 4gears are short enough to have a good acceleration in the city.

That is not the engine intended for that model, its typical practice of distributer, everything is relegated to 125cc, as it is the lion’s share of the market. I believe that model was designed for the 16hp 150cc and they first introduced it with the 150cc standard engine, with some modifications. I would say that the chassis was ready before its water cooled 4-valve engine, this model you have has only a 125cc and not bad engine just nothing special about it.
I imagine the 16hp 150 would make the bike more entertaining.
I believe the intended engine for that is the same engine in the Yamaha YZF-R15.
Jianshe intends to make this engine its focal point in its product line.
It is not an MT125 and it does not cost 5k USD either.
Think about it, the 150 version is less marketable in markets that set limits at 125cc. The 125cc that is offered in the EU is set at the limit of 15hp, just like the Duke 125.
They all just need to make a 125cc that can meet the limits and then compete on price, style…balance….Its like they are cats playing with their food.Last edited by MJH; 06-04-2015 at 08:58 PM.

Unfortunately, the majority of new/improved Chinese designs have 150 cc, and, as I can see, people from the factories that produce them, are not too enthusiastic to reduce their displacement to 125 cc.
And again, there is matter of pricing - this little air cooled YBR's engine is significantly cheaper than this new 150 cc. Hell, I'm bit suprised that "Junak" folks didn't ordered this bike fitted even cheaper GC clone (Remember "Romet Ogar Caffe" 125?).
Beniamin, did you get brand new bike or one with some mileage?Ask me nothing - I DO NOT speak english. Really...
