京A current plate prices (2 & 3 wheeled)

I've read somewhere that in Beijing, 2 wheeled motorcycles and 3 wheeled (side car) bikes use different plates, as in you can't use one with on other. Can someone confirm this from personal experience?

Also, can someone post the lasted price they've seen or paid for a 京A plate. Please specify 2 or 3 wheeled plate (assuming there is in fact a difference).

In that vein, in May 2015 I saw a 70cc bike with a 京A plate the owner was asking 80,000 rmb for both.

Yes, 2 and 3 wheeled bikes use different plates. You cannot use one on the other.

80k for an A plate (2 wheels) seems about right, although you can get a better idea of current prices from 58.com. Prices bounce around a fair bit.

Sidecar plates are unpredictable because the market is so tiny (maybe one sale a month), but are generally around 20k.

@Lao jia hou, thanks, that's helpful. I saw a 2014 jialing JH600B with an A plate for 98800 & and didn't know if that's a good deal or not. Sounds like a no.
