    hi all, just a quick hello while I await delivery of my new Lexmoto XTRS 125, I took the plunge yesterday and bought one as a learner bike, im hoping to do my full licence next year

    Enjoy the bike, hope she serves you well. Change the oil regularly, check those bolts are tight and check the tire pressures.

    thanks for the welcome, I shall buy a big bottle of Loctite and im also thinking of changing the tyres straight away as I have read something about the originals being of poor quality

    My favorite online mechanic tutor suggests Loctite stick (less messy), and I've heard people putting Michelin Pilot Roads on them. Good tires and the right pressures are really important in the UK if you have cold or wet roads.

    cheers for the info on the tyres, I have noticed people have placed Michelin 110-80-17 on them front and rear, I always thought a bike prefared wider rear ???
