#1 Engine temperature with stainless steel exhaust08-07-2015, 11:34 PM
On the begining of my post I want to say hi to everybody, as this is my first time writing anything here. :)
I recently fitted my Superbyke RSP125 with a stainless steel downpipe and a stubby exhaust. Since then I think the engine gets a bigger temperature and it warms up quicker. Also while the engine is hot, the end can is cold and the downpipe only warm (you can touch It with a bare hand). I'm guessing It's probably something to do with the carburettor, but what?
Thanks in advance for any help ;)

Hi and welcome to MCM ...
Not sure what you are asking ???? if your engine is getting to hot then its lean ??? if its to cold then the engine is running rich .... you need to pop out the spark plug and have a look .....
Good luck"Arguing on the Internet is like running in the Special Olympics, even if you win you're still retarded"

That's exactly what I was asking ;) is it possible that changing the exhaust messed the whole carburetor setup?

How do I do that? As in which bolt on the carburetor to turn which way to adjust it? I've never done this before, but I've recently spent quite a lot of money on It and my budget is low, so I'm hoping I'll be able to do It myself.

So I've tried adjusting the needle, I put it on the lowest setting but doesn't seem like It helped. If anything I'd say I made it worse. I've also fitted a K&N style filter now. Any ideas how to adjust that? It would be much appreciated.
