Except during the test ride I noticed a "knock" coming from the front wheel. It looked like the bolt heads connecting the rotor to the hub were rubbing the brake pads.
SO...I loosened the front wheel so it spun freely but it was still slightly rubbing then tightened the front wheel to the point it was very hard to spin then loosened it again to the point the front axle bolt's head was flush with the rest (point were the wheel spun freely)
Then.. I loosened two bolts connecting the brake to the bracket and spun the wheel many times. And by the time I tightened the "brake Adapter" bolts it seem to of helped some but there is some rubbing. Also my rotor is not warped al all.
I did another test ride and I could hear it rubbing but I didn't feel any vibrations. It just makes me worry. How Can I fix this ? I really want to ride tomorrow. I'll try to remember to put up some pics.Last edited by bullfrog; 08-12-2015 at 03:08 AM. Reason: added photos

This type of caliper is a sliding pin . That is the caliper floats on two pins so you need to pull it apart and clean the pins and the inside of the holes. Then grease it with something like "coppercote".While you are at it remove the pistons and carefully clean those. Do not use sandpaper just a cloth with a little gas.

08-15-2015, 01:25 AMNo coppercoat!! Silicon based only and not petroleum
Ok you have the same issue as me - stretched caliper bolts to the fork
Remove the bolt and grind a little of the end to make it shorter by halve a mm or so
Do both job done

08-16-2015, 03:47 PMCopper coat is petroleum based and swells seals causing minor to major sticking slides
Totally the wrong products
Stretched bolts new a higher grade is best
Sort term fix grind a little
