Doc, probably you can not find the manual on which cover is written "Skyteam V-Raptor", but any service manual for motorcycle who is, like your, fitted with engine cloned from Honda CB, would be sufficient. The rest of the bike is preety common, so you can pick some tricks concearning rapair and maintenance even in your local moto shop.

you are probably right and I know this bike has got a very basic and "simple" engine
i am following already several forums about it and I got a lot of useful details, tips and informations
am sharing all of them with other old and new owners as well
maybe I can contact Loncin China and ask them for a user manual of their FM166 unit

Speaking of fork oil capacity, Humanbeing, do you have any reliable info about front forks of, so to speak, "first vawe" of Chinese enduros we've seen ten-twelve years ago?

    How much oil they need?

NOT sure. Their 80s XL125S ancestor IS using ATF & ~155cc each fork . The exact answer = measure the "old oil" by lab grade "tools".

    thanx a lot HB
however, i'll try replacing all wearable parts and accessories with EU products when it's possible..........as long as I am pretty sure they fit the bike
guess it's a better choice if i wanna keep the bike for a long time even after getting a bigger one in the future

Heh, according to Murphy's Law, the amount of old oil that I'll measured from both fork tubes will be waaay too different. :)

Nevertheless, thank you for the information about the origin of such type of fork.
