Hi, just looking for some piston rings for an adrenaline 125 with the big bore kit. I found some on eBay for a cg150 engine which are for a 62mm piston and was wondering if they would work fine on a suzuki based gs125 engine as the big bore version has 62mm piston rings or does it not work like that....

I don't think that you can simply bore out your bike's cylinder and fit suitable 62 mm piston - IMO, sleeve's wall to thin.

Hi, I don't need to bore it. I have fitted a 150cc kit already but need to replace the cylinder rings and don't want to wait for some to arrive from China. I was wondering if the 62mm rings from a cg150 would fit as it also has a 62mm piston

    A-ha, just rings!

    Beats me.

I couldn't provide you reliable info, but if I would be in your shoes, I would find out (using Web or vernier/micrometer) what are the piston ring dimensions (not only diameter, of course) for both engines, yours and those on the CG clone. If they are the same, they will fit. If not... as Axl said, you "gotta have some patience". Simple as that.

http://www.dongya.cn/prodlist.asp?page=7&tp=4&keywords= CG150 62mm [1.2/1.2/2.5] is most common BUT there's other combnation. I would say MESAURE it 1st & ask the seller what's the spec of their rings...
