    Hi

Thanks for taking time out of your holiday to reply, yes I am serous, I know my current dashboard works as is, but, to have the additional trip meter, clock etc, is definitely worth it, at least I know I'll have a working spare with my original one.

Yeah I know about the chinese holiday, March is fine, if, in the mean time I do hear anything back from CFMoto I will of course let you know.

Many thanks again, and enjoy your holiday.

    Cheers

    Tony

No worries Tony, I've asked my assistant to make contract with our sources at CFMoto, however unfortunately nothing can be done until after the CNY and Spring Festival holiday period. This will likely mean near the end of the month before I can get any information.

Just a quick note though, I looked back at a few earlier posts in this thread and I discovered that some of the links show slightly different instrument panels than what I originally posted about. I assume that the photos in such links I refer to are the 650TR second generation instrument panels, whereas my post is about the 650TR-G instrument panel.

    Hi

Thanks for that, yes essentially, I'm looking for the same instrument panel that you have, as at least I know that will fit :) I mainly want it for the trip meter, clock, and having the gear selected displayed is, as you say a bonus. I don't mind waiting, afterall, the original instrument panel does work fine.

Once again, thanks for your help.

What do you think of the SatNav mount I found?

It's a mount designed for the ST1300, but fits perfectly. Sorry, that was a bit off topic, but I noticed on your images that you have a satnav mount.

    Cheers

    Tony

My 2014 TK has the second generation instrument panel which has the clock and trip meter. Wonder if the 650TR-G will work as a straight swap. Of ocz the ABS light will be redundant. But will be good to have the gear position indicator.

The new TR-G don't have a gear indicator.

Only on the Gen 3 TR not the new TR-G.
Apart from my review on the TR-G i don't think there are other members on MCM that own a TR-G.

You'd be forgiven for being confused by Prince666's comment. What he should have written is that on the TR-G model the gear indicator doesn't display as a gear indicator. Instead it displays other information using that area of the display. However, put the TR-G instrument panel onto the 650TR/TK and it displays the gear indicator. At least that's the case on the first generation 650TR. I can't vouch for the second generation model.

Thanks. So there is a Gen 3 TR. Is this the one with ABS? So that would make mine Gen 2 then. How is the performance of the TR-G compared to the standard TR?
Does CFMoto tuned the engine to cope with nearly 260kg of weight? Does the Sport mode and Econ mode does anything? Suspect it is a ECU tuning map sequence.
