Has anyone bought one of these? Thinking of getting it as a play bike and teach my scooter riding co-worker to clutch and shift. For those of you who do not know, this is one of (I think there's more than one) the Honda Grom (MSX125) clones, available for around 7k rmb. I expect typical Chinese factory workmanship but any major issues if you have had one for a while? At least Wonjan is a "real" brand, not some made up sticker bike put together who knows where.

Heh, "major issues"... C-motos need more or less, constant babysitting, or better to say, they are not for "idiot users". They need someone who can recognize the symptoms and act to prevent "issues", minor or major.

Are you in the US? We now have available in the US, the Zongshen Rapido model, or one that looks exactly like it, sold as a TMEC Denali 125fx. There is a video of one where, of course, the guy talks and talks about it and turns it on, but does not show it ridden. It is distributed by Sunright http://www.sunright.net/linhai-scooters/denali-125%20FX

You cannot buy those they are not legal to import, they need a company to import and support them and that importing company has to submit them for approval through the EPA.
