NOt to change the subject too much, but ironically, in the US, more and more US states are making riders get separate licenses for both cars and motorcycles (or endorsed for both). A few US states allow people to ride without any kind of license, which is the perfect vehicle for those who have lost their licenses for drunk driving or too many tickets, etc. They can still get around. But in other states, some of which used to have such laws, now one has to get a license for most any motorized vehicle such as step through scooters and such. In my state, Arizona, which used to allow no license use of scooters and mopeds under 50cc, now one has to get a license for such vehicles. There are two-step endorsements, one for 0 - 124cc and the unlimited endorsement for 125cc and above. It has ruined my plans to rent scooters to tourists here! California is even worse, and there are far more potential tourists there!! If we can go back to simple laws like just needing a car license for anything under 125cc, it would make life easier!!

When the law was discussed in parliament, there was plenty of negative opinions. Police officers, traffic specialists, motorcyclists. All of them shouted that people without training will be Cause a lot of accidents. They will kill themselves, they will cause chaos. The motorcycle press was dissatisfied, because it will have to test the weak motorcycles. and so on.

After one Year, we see that it was not so bad decision. The 50ccm, ale from day to day less on the roads. They do not block the Car traffic anymore. Many people changed the 50cc to 125. The traffic is more fluent.

Also, it look that you in Poland are again stuck with OHV engine. Neighborhood got those with balanced OHC engine - http://rapiramoto.ru/products/8008038

In OHIO if you lose your license for drunk driving, they give you and orange license plate and you can only use that vehicle to drive to work. I cannot see how putting them on an unlicensed motorcycle is a perfect solution

One thing is that a motorcyclist is less likely to kill other people than a car driver. There is a diffrence in killing power in a small 125 cc bike and 2500 kg SUV.

How many times you have read that a motorcyclist killed someone? And how many times you have read that people were killed by a car? How many times drunken motorcyclist has killed someone? And how many times drunken car driver has killed someone? I do think statistics are on my side, so we don't have to go into a debate do motorcyclist pay more attention to what they are doing because a mistake by a motorcyclist can easily cost his life, as opposite to a SUVer who can do some "ooops, lol, me rammed" things safely.
